Queen's Intervention Frees Suspected Terrorists

In a surprise move, Queen Elizabeth today
intervened in the cases of more than three hundred
suspected terrorists

In a letter delivered by Queen's solicitor Laurence Thigby
the Queen recalled a conversation she had had with the prisoners
which completely exonerates them from all suspicion

When asked why the Queen had waited so long
to make this exculpatory information public Thigby retorted
remember your place she's the bloody Queen

After their release the prisoners
stopped for a pint at a pub where they were given a round of applause
then whisked themselves away to an undisclosed location

PR guru Karl Roverdale encouraged
the prisoners to write a book which he said will be worth millions
because the public loves a good Royal Scandal

When asked why the Queen of England
had any influence over American legal proceedings John Ashcroft retorted
remember your place she's the bloody Queen
