[Newspoetry] call for pomes

Dear John,

The proper conclusion of your argument would be,
that in Missouri, or Miss-is-sis-is-sour-our-or-u-r-i-i-i
(as say americans who lived once upon a time there)
people do not legally reproduce by sexual contact,
and that explains all of the bastards who arise there.

Now, Ashcroft comes from there, in some sense,
and so do I and my family, in some other sense...

The evidence may suggest that bastards of Missouri
are not necessarily such bad guys by mean ancestry,
which fact then requires us to examine other evidence
about the illegal offspringings that emerge therefrom,
to explain good and bad bastards by their deeds,
in arenas other than the sacred precincts of the beds.

But, then, why does Ashcroft want to voyeurize
all the secret hiding places, bedrooms and closets?

Perhaps, he wants to be legal in his sexual contacts,
which, for folks from Missouri, means you do sex
as if it were a sight gag, a sight that makes you gag,
or makes you want to engage in gagging sexual gigs,
and gigolos by the gaggle go on gigabit gauge gigs.

Well, I hope I have lost the thread of this thought,
unraveling this way, or that, a strand of Ariadnews.

Thanks for listening,
Donald L Emerick
