Thought I'd let folks know - if anybody in Urbana wants to go, i'd love to
have a buddy and maybe a ride.

Subject: [Peace] Sat. 3-15 Anti-War Plans for Fun & Safety

PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY!!!

Come one, come all=85

Peaceful Anti-War Protest =96 This is what democracy
looks like.
This Saturday, March 15, 2003,
2-4 pm, N. Prospect and Marketview in Champaign.

This Saturday we have a rare opportunity to
demonstrate not only how broad the opposition to war
is, but also how we can cheerfully disagree with our
fellow human beings in peace. A smaller
counterdemonstration in support of war will take place
at the same time and place. We have informed the
Champaign police, who are attempting to negotiate a
separation between the two groups. AWARE volunteers
in white armbands will guide folks into place and be
on hand to diffuse any potential conflicts and to
provide general assistance.

Drummers and other musicians requested. The weather
should be beautiful.

Please arrive as usual at 2:00 pm (not before), and
check in with someone in a white armband. They will
know the scoop. We expect a good turnout and a lot of
good humor. The News-Gazette and other media will be
on hand, too. Please pass the word. Let=92s enjoy the
overwhelming, unprecedented support for peace =85 and
don=92t park at Tires Plus!

Call 356-2205 to help.
