Gas prices go tumbling downhill
like a mountain stream gas prices bound over boulders
in a refreshing spray of clear gas prices
pouring to the sea, through gullies ravines and over waterfalls
gas prices go splashing downstream
gas prices trickle out of the sky like snowflakes
  a cascading spectrum of autumn leaves
like whirling seed pods bringing new life
gas prices go down like the sun in the west
once again igniting the hidden dreamcolors of sky

Gas prices go down like limbo dancers, like bowls of punch,
like torn pinatas in a gold of candy
the rain that ends the drought and floods the desert with wildflowers
descending with sleepy majesty
gas prices topple like trees in an avalanche rumble and
an aftershock of quiet relief
gas prices, feet on the ground, dig in,
get down to business
drifting embers of bottlerockets
