[Newspoetry] I'm me(and you?!)

Some say I am mad,
completely a lunatic.
They may be right.

Others say I am drunk,
drunk on this or that,
an intoxicant,
a physical substance
that corrupts my reason,
in their opinion.
they maay be right.

What is the standard for deviance,
what is the rule for the normal,
for the proper of being?

It is just this,
to be the way some one expects you to be,
for as long as you act thta way,
you are being, normal.

I'd prefer not be normal,
I prefer to appear mad,
to appear otherwise,
a singularity unique,
more or less, me.

Oh, yes, I violate norms,
because I hate them,
at the very least,
as much as I hate me,
as much as I love me,
as much as I am me,
and not some you of my dreams,
who would make me be you,
by making me into you,
leaving no me to be me.
