The evident pattern of blatant lies,
boldly told, repeatedly in disguise,
shows probable cause to impeach,
to seize this Bush for over-reach.
 
And, if we blink, wink and nudge,
and laugh, hide from duty, fudge
the truth, this time, what follows
is a democracy full of swallows.
 
We swallow anything after this,
if to our sworn duty we are remiss,
if we ignore the boldest crimes,
we'll not hear the bell that chimes.
 
We'll hear no tolling of our death,
because we surrendered breath,
opening air of freedom in free men,
the liberty we once had back then.
