Abramoff Prosecutor Steps Down

The investigation of Jack Abramoff, the disgraced Republican lobbyist, took
a surprising new turn on Thursday when the Justice Department said the chief
prosecutor in the inquiry would step down next week because he had been
nominated to a federal judgeship by President Bush.

Bush proves he's smarter than Nixon. Nixon fired the prosecutors. He
should have named them to Federal Court jobs instead. No muss, no fuss.
Just get the prosecutor off my ass, slow up the prosecution.

I think this is an unlawful matter of interference with Justice. I think
it's a bribe. I think it's a high crime.

But, hey, will Congress impeach Bush for getting the prosecutor off their
tail?

Nope. Nottachance.
