Probability of Iran Attack Rises Sharply

As Congress can't get Bush to quit Iraq,
Bush-Cheney is determined to attack Iran,
fearing a next President won't make war,
when war alone is right - to Bush-Cheney -
as proof diplomacy fails and war is needed,
and warriors and suppliers of warriors, too:
navies and armies, incorporated mercenaries,
all the ways of avoiding domestic pacificism,
the peace and prosperity of the household,
questions of fair divisions of economic pies.

Only war defines virtue for Bush-Cheney -
where there is good (always me and mine)
fighting evil (always you and yours) to death.
Bush-Cheney would fight for their way of life:
the idea that war is absolutely necessary:
We must wage war in order to win a war -
To keep people distracted from economy.

They also prove the war need by citing evil,
as a prevalent condition of another place,
that could somehow and someday hurt us,
and thus such war, today, is preventive,
for a war would happen inevitably anyway -
such stitches in time save their nine lies.

Thus, self-defense justifies war nonsense,
as truly necessary against violent threats,
much magnified and made ever imminent,
war-mongering microscopes on microbes,
telescoping distance, time and far spaces,
telecommunicating disaster by teleology,
séances that speak with the living dead:
let us not be victims of some deadly war,
but manly choose its time, place, manner,
by striking first at them, pre-empting them.

Control-freaks rule out all negotiations,
for they would act alone for themselves:
"Never come to be depending on others;
never regard them as your equal other,
entitled to decent respect and justice,"
so chant Bush-Cheney in frightful fear,
in nightmares that make their dreams:
impatient men value action as war-wise,
reject ideas of patience as peace-foolish.

If ever impeachment were a dire cause,
it's rises with imminence of another war,
another folly by our ship of state fools,
whose greed curses all that they touch,
all that they seize upon in forcible rape
against all rationality and its democracy:
the republic of liberty, equality, fraternity,
where good reason rules, ever folly fails.
