[Peace-discuss] Saudi jet story false

Congressman,

There may be a story here. Unfortunately, it isn't the one Michael Moore is
telling. I say this as a longtime fan of his. I don't know if you heard
his version, but he emphasizes that the Saudis were allowed to leave
"without being questioned" and that this occurred "two days after Sept. 11,"
when all other planes were still grounded. This is pretty creepy and also
clearly false, as far as any of these press reports can be believed,
including the citations you so dutifully bring to our attention.

Not that it's worth having a protracted debate about, as there clearly is
collusion between the rich families of the world - including the Bush-bin
Laden connection - but I think we do have to be careful in making this point
not to undermine our own credibility by misrepresenting the tale. Like the
attacks on Sept 11 themselves, I think this story is damning enough without
the spooky stuff.

Just thought folks might want to know. Nobody's bringing any tablets down
from any mountains here. We all deserve to be checked, that's all.

podemos,

Ricky
