I just read the DI editorial, and I think it is an impressive and
courageous defense of free speech.  If we don't respect everybody's free
speech rights, even the free speech rights of those we deem oppressors,
then we will be in a weaker position to defend free speech rights,
including especially those of the oppressed and marginalized.
I don't think AWARE should protest the DI, because its editors clearly
don't agree with or endorse the views of the One Truth Foundation.  I
think it would be better for AWARE to concentrate on countering the
distorted views of the Palestinians likely to be contained in the ads.
Could we, maybe, run our own ad?
