Dear MoveOn Member,

Voter registration deadlines are just days away in most states.
With public attention finally turning to the election, campaigns
are shifting into high gear.  Now is the time to do your part.

But first and foremost, make sure you are registered to vote.
If you are not certain, you can contact the registrar of voters
in your local county office to ask if you are registered. You may
or may not be registered if you did not vote in the last
election - different states have different rules about this - so
please double check now.

If you are not registered, there are several resources that make
it easy.  Go to the election.com website at

or go to the service provided by votenet.com

 https://register.votenet.com/votenet/

Both services help you fill out a standard registration application,
which you then print out and send in by mail.  Both require Adobe
Acrobat Reader and a printer.

If you have any trouble with these, or want to request an absentee
ballot, election.com offers an excellent list of state websites
and phone numbers for election information.

As the election countdown continues, we will highlight key campaigns
