As some of you may know: Yahya Jalil a Wharton MBA student, who is
scheduled to graduate in 2003 is not being allowed to enter the US
after a trip to London over spring break. Prior to leaving he was asked
to register at the INS as a person from Pakistan which he did twice with
the assistance of the Wharton School. Now after complying with every
rule - he is being told that he should not have left for Spring Break
without an exit pass and interview.

He has been in the US for 10 years - worked at GE Equity and graduated
from Stanford undergrad - and his wife is in the US. He is currently
in Pakistan trying to get back to the US. The student government at
Wharton has put together an online petition to help him come back to his
friends and family in the US. Please take a minute to sign it.

http://www.gapsa.upenn.edu/yahya/ (Although the petition states the
undersigned as the UPENN community, everyone is requested to sign).

Thanks.
