FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dr. Rangwala has just released his first response to Sec. Powell's
presentation at the UN yesterday. This response is available at the
Traprock Peace Center website - http://traprockpeace.org
Dr. Rangwala intends to update this response and incorporate it into the
'Counter-Dossier II' treatise - "Claims and Evaluations of Iraq's Proscribed
Weapons." This treatise has been available at the Traprock site and a few
other international sites. He updates these sites frequently.

Dr. Rangwala is available for interviews. As described by the Institute for
Public Accuracy:

GLEN RANGWALA, gr10009 at cam.ac.uk, http://www.casi.org.uk
Rangwala is a lecturer in politics at Cambridge University in Britain and
is available to rebut many points in Powell's speech. He noted that even on
points in the public domain, Powell stretched the truth: "Powell claimed
that UNMOVIC head 'Dr. Blix pronounced the 12,200-page declaration rich in
volume but poor in information and practically devoid of new evidence.' ...
In fact, Blix has said that 'In the fields of missiles and biotechnology,
the declaration contains a good deal of new material and information
covering the period from 1998 and onward. This is welcome.'"

Dr. Glen Rangwala was co-author (with Alan Simpson) of Labour (UK) Against
the War's 'Counter-Dossier,' which was a pre-buttal to PM Blair's 'Dossier'
concerning Iraq. Dr. Rangwala then wrote 'Counter-Dossier II," which
responded directly to the Blair document after it's release on September 24,
2002. Dr. Rangwala greatly expanded the 'Counter-Dossier II' to make it a
comprehensive treatise on all significant claims concerning Iraq's
proscribed weapons.
