[Peace-discuss] DI coverage so uneven it's downright odd

Just read today's Daily Illini online (www.dailyillini.com). There's a very 
good, long interview with Doug Rokke and a decent staff editorial calling 
Bush's war into question. But the main story on the rally and march - 
headlined "Campus Engulfed in Protest" - is pretty wretched: one long 
diatribe against dissent, basically, with practically every picture, and 
most quotes, pitting a few brave flag-wavers against hordes of ill-informed 
face-painted freaks. Not exactly the events I, or anybody else fortunate 
enough to be on the quad yesterday during the noon rally and afterward, 
saw. Letters, anyone?
