THE SEARCH:
Danielle and Sascha are searching for a third housemate to live with at
412 W. Illinois St.  We live in an extremely spacious, totally restored
100 year old Victorian Home with all the amenities.  It is 4 blocks from
both campus and downtown and 2 blocks from the bus line in Urbana.  Rent
is $390-430 depending on which rooms you choose.  Utilities average about
$50-75/month.  Internet is free and wireless. We share food costs. No
pets, no smoking or drugs in the house. Common spaces are kept clean; we
rotate chores.

THE HOUSE:
It is inspiring.  It has high ceilings, lots of windows and light, a huge
kitchen, and fans in every room.  We have 2 living rooms, a dining room,
and eat-in kitchen; off-street parking; garage; washer/dryer; dishwasher,
gas stove; central heat and air; filtered water; energy efficient
everything; wrap around porch; basement and attic storage. The walls are
filled with art and the entire interior is accented with wood trim.

THE PEOPLE:
Sascha and Danielle are both active community members.  Danielle serves on
City Council.  Sascha is a doctoral student at the Institute for
Communications Research.  We helped to found the local Independent Media
Center.  We both work at a local software & website design company.  We
have strong commitments to social justice.  Though we are both extremely
busy, our house is a wonderful, calm refuge. We enjoy periodic guests and
socials.
