Veterans Day is about remembering those who died, those of us who were 
injured in war or peacetimes incidents, and all of those who served. Although 
individuals may disagree with the military and in many instances, such as the 
military actions occuring today, i as a combat vet do not agree with nor condone the 
current actions there have been far more intances where military personnel 
served with distinction and protected our freedoms.  To glorify a warrior is not 
and never has been the purpose- the purpose is to remember the sacrifices of 
many for many.
