It may be of importance to understand that many individuals who fly the 
"stars and bars" do not relate it to the horrible acts and consequences of slavery 
but to the issues of states rights-- any way that is an observation from 
teaching. living, and working in the deep south of Alabama and Mississippi  and 
meeting many of the past and current leaders and lots of down home folk.
