IMO, DK is the only candidate even remotely talking about peace. Many do not consider him electable. Also IMO, perhaps AWARE should start thinking about the political situation and work for their most acceptable candidate. Letters to the editor, leafleting, and meeting on North Prospect about issues are fine, but it seems to me that the time is fast approaching to support a candidate or forget about it. If DK does poorly in Iowa in less than 150 days, it will be to late. I am not saying you should support him, but no matter who you are going to support, now is the time to do so - thus your efforts might be better directed at this time toward helping a candidate than to supporting particular issues. Again, JMO.

Dear Friends,

The grassroots response to Dennis Kucinich's call for each of us to
celebrate the International Day of Peace on September 21st has been
incredible. In a few days, more than 600 people have signed up to hold
house parties to spread Dennis' message of an America as a world leader
in peace and to raise critical funds for our campaign.

In gatherings small and large, volunteers from Maine to Hawaii are
joining with Dennis and with millions of people all over the world in a
call for a global cease fire and a change in global awareness on
September 21st.

There are 11 days left until the International Day of Peace. Please
take one simple action to promote our Peace Day Campaign.

If you haven't done so already, please sign up to hold a Peace Day House
Party. Our volunteers are pledging to have Peace Day parties at some
point during the week leading up to September 21st.

Let's double or triple the number of volunteers committed to holding a
Party. To be part of our Peace Day House Party campaign, click here:

If you aren't able to participate in the Peace Day Celebration, please
make a generous donation to the Campaign as a way of joining in the
celebration. To make a contribution, click here:
https://www.kucinich.us/contribute.php

Or invite three additional people to join the campaign. We can
double or triple the number of our supporters with this simple
action. Send them this link and encourage them to sign up
for the email alerts: http://kucinich.us/alerts-signup.htm

Our Peace Day Campaign has fired the imagination of people across our
nation. Let's keep building the momentum. Together, we can change the
outcome of this election.

Sincerely,

Dorothy J. Maver
National Campaign Manager
Kucinich for President
