If anyone is planning to attend this, I hope you will
consider how to get the most out of your time with a
person who may soon be your senator.  Personally, I
think he needs to know two main things: 1) that we
agree with and appreciate his opposition to the war in
Iraq, and hope that means he's for pulling out ASAP;
and 2) we are concerned about his apparent support for
the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land -- it's not
only illegal, it's immoral and suicidal.

He may think he can assume votes like ours, but I
think it's vital that he understand that he has to
earn our support.

And, of course, I hope nobody will miss the monthly
Prospect for Peace demonstration because of this. 
Elections are important, but candidates need to be
damn sure there is continuing support for positions
such as ours.  Maybe somebody could invite him to stop
by before 4pm????????
