The Prompting Theater invites you to a fundraiser, Prompting Theater
style.

On Thursday, February 12th, the Prompting Theater will be having a
spaghetti dinner show.  This is our fundraiser to make-up for us not
having our Haunted Theater this past Halloween.  The Prompting Theater
will be presenting a new work, written for this dinner:  The Complete
Works of the Prompting Theater (Briefly).  Within an hour (hopefully!)
the
troupe will chronicle their 8 year history, consisting of 24
performances,
as well a brief preview of their new work to be premiered in May.

The dinner fundraiser will be held at the McKinley Church (McKinley
Foundation) on the corner of Fifth and Daniels in the campustown area of
Champaign.  The spaghetti dinner will be served between 6 pm and 7, and
the show itself will begin at 7 (and with any luck by done by 8, but
then....).  The Prompting Theater suggests a donation of $10 if you
intend
to attend both the dinner and show, and $5 if you prefer to just see the
show.

Who is the Prompting Theater?  The performing troupe is based in
Champaign, and is comprised of adults with developmental disabilities.
They are the hosts of the Street Theater Festival which occurs in
downtown
Urbana every fall (this past year featuring other local theater venues,
including the ARTCo and the Rantoul Theater Group).  As well, they
present
smaller shows throughout the year, with a big premiere work at Parkland
usually in May.  The troupe has performed for over 8 years now, and
continue to make their audiences laugh with original works (such as the
one to be presented at this dinner fundraiser).

If you wish to attend the dinner portion of the fundraiser, it is highly
recommended that you call for reservations.  You can either respond to

356-9176.  If you are interested only in the show, reservations are not
necessary.
