does this scare anyone else just a bit? it seems like a slippery slope to 
stepping up the security to unreasonable degrees.. then once those who have 
reason to think they might not pass a background check for various 
reasons--or who don't want to have ourselves fingerprinted and iris scanned 
at every turn--will be subject to more rigid searches at the gate.

but only 30 people declined!
