lot more Iraqis than Bush has. I don't see any reason that Kerry will
change that, in fact, in order to keep up this facade of misguided
"manliness" to "stay the course", Kerry will be just as bad as Bush in the
near term.

   Riiiiiiight.

Do you suppose that "Darth" Nadar is causing some concern in the Kerry Kamp?

Gosh, I hope not.

NOT!

Folks, if you can find a way to send him money, send him money. Money keeps
him in the race. And worse, and even more difficult for us, the right answer
to any polling questions you get on the telephone is NADER. If he seems a
legitimate alternative to "Bush Lite", then he will suck away votes from the
left on November 2.

We should all find out what we need to do in our state to help Ralphie get
on the ballot. Let's make it happen!

One thing about Kerry and Bush is that both of them receive all their
donations from people that support them. Neither is getting matching funds
( I believe). Nader, on the other hand, wants his campaign supported largely
by those who do not support HIM. If you cannot survive without matching
funds then maybe you do not really have very strong support.

Neither President Bush or Sen. Kerry have taken Fed matching funds for the
Primary season, but both have indicated they will take them for the Campaign
which becomes effective for them when they are nominated/accepted at their
respective conventions.... The estimated funds will be somewhere around $75
Million each. Thus Kerry will begin spending his allotment about 33 days
prior to Bush...

I know you're right, but I even begrudge him the oxygen he takes out of the
air. I guess the people stupid enough to check "Yes" on that Presidential
Campaign Fund box on their taxes are expecting to see their money spent
somewhere. I just hope Ralphie spends it to let me watch baseball games for
free on TV.

Though i would love Nader to capture 10% I really dont think it will happen
i think that the Nader supporters will go with Kerry and Nader may only get
about half of what he did in 2000
of course i do hope that i am wrong and Kerry is destroyed on both fronts

I think that more people will vote for Nader this time because Kerry is so
arrogant and unlikeable.

Not so fast. In 2000, Nader received 2.7 percent of the vote. The latest
Gallup Poll, taken April 5-8, gives him 4 percent. A Newsweek poll of
18-to-29 year-olds found 12 percent backing Nader, "at the expense of John
Kerry." And Democrats have to be worried about a survey in New Hampshire
last month that found Nader with 8 percent.
GO NADER GO! November has the makings of the "perfect storm" for the liberal
left...

And I used to think Nader was arrogant and unlikeable, but I guess you're
right -- Kerry wins that contest hands down!

Well, if Perot hadn't run in 1992, Bush would probably have won a second
term. Remember Clinton only got 42% of the vote. Then who would have run in
1996? It would have been a clean slate. Everything would have been
different.

Looks like Heinz-Kerry might get the squeeze. Get it, like a bottle of
Kechup.

I'm not so sure Nader can swing the elections. Will these Naders supporters
actually vote for Kerry should Nader drop out? My guess is they won't even
show up on poll day.

I'm not so sure it came down to 500 votes in Florida, either. If they backed
out all the "votes" from dead people and their dogs in Chicago and St.
Louis, then added in the absentee votes from the overseas military, W would
have won without breaking a sweat.

All the more reason to circulate Nader petitions in your neighborhood, and
get him on the ballot in your state?
