[Peace-discuss] Writers in the Round, Sunday

Howdy friends,

This SUNDAY at 8pm
at the COWBOY MONKEY
I will be taking part in this round of
WRITERS IN THE ROUND

WITR is a monthly showcase which features 4 (yes, FOUR) singer-songwriters 
and their acoustic guitars on one stage. Participants take turns playing 
songs, on which others just might harmonize, take a solo, etc. There are 
usually about 8 rounds, which is pretty much like getting a full set of 
music from each of the FOUR performers, for ONE slim cover charge. How darn 
kewl is that!??

This month's performers are as follows:
KAYLA BROWN: Local up-and-coming songstress with a voice that sends chills 
up the spine.
BRUCE "BRUISER" RUMMENIE: fronts the goodtime boogie band "Bruiser and the 
Virtues". Guitarist exraordinaire.
HILARY SCOTT: Out-of towner who has been doing the music thang since 
childhood. Let's assume she's as good as her website says she is.
And of course:
DARRIN DRDA: The important thing about this dude is that he'll be playing 
lots of catchy NEW SONGS on his expensive NEW GUITAR. If you ask him, he'll 
probably show you his badass NEW TATTOO.

Truly, WITR is one of Champaign's greatest musical offerings. And I'm not 
just sayin that because I'm playing in it. Good times, y'all!
