[Peace-discuss] Now hiring for the 4th Annual Street Theater Festival

NOW HIRING!
 
For the Prompting Theater's 4th Annual Street Theater Festival, on Saturday, Oct. 2nd.
 
Auditions:  Saturday, Sept 11   4-6 PM
                 Sunday, Sept 12    12-2 PM
                or call 356-9176 (ask for Brian Hagy), if need other time
                 Audition material will be provided.
Location:  in the downtown Urbana parking garage (on Broadway between Main and Elm)
 
Wage:  $10/hour, hours dependent on character (between 6-15 hours)
              Wages for festival date only.  Rehearsals are not paid.
Age:     Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
Experience:   None, but an interest in comedy, improv, or slapstick suggested.  Anyone
                    hired will act as well as help run the festival (info tables, setup, strike, etc.)
 
Performances:  *audition for either or both*
                    Juliet's Murder   (13 characters)
                       an original mystery comedy written by the Prompting Theater
                    Collected Sketches of Carol Burnett's TV Show  (up to 7 characters)
                        An 1 1/2 hour show of classic Carol Burnett sketches.
Rehearsals:  To be determined after everyone is hired.
                    Will have about 5 per show, all after 6 PM.
 
Who:   The Prompting Theater is a local semi-professional theater troupe.  The core actors are adults with developmental disabilities.
