PLEASE COME AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR A RESOLUTION TO WITHDRAW FROM IRAQ
 
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15, 12:15PM, McKINLEY CHURCH (corner of Fifth and John)
 
The following groups have signed a resolution or made faith-based statements
to withdraw US support from Iraq: Ubana-Champaign Friends (Quaker) Meeting;
Illinois Great Rivers Chapter of Methodist Federation for Social Concerns;
Social Concerns Committee of St Patrick's Catholic Church; First Mennonite
Church in Urbana; McKinley Presbyterian Church Social Action Committee;
Channing Murray Foundation; Outreach Ministries at Wesley United Methodist
Church; Illinois Disciples Foundation; and CU-Interfaith Alliance.
 
Whether or not you are a member of one of these group, if your moral or
religious convictions lead you to believe the US should withdraw from Iraq,
please come to this press conference/public gathering and witness with your
presence.
 
No signs please. You may bring a candle or votive in a small glass jar to
show your support.
