just got a kick out of this Federalist
Society-sponsored panel:

Discussion Panel on Political Corruption in Illinois
February 21: The UIUC College of Law's Federalist
Society will be hosting a discussion panel on
“Political Corruption in Illinois” at 7 p.m. in the
auditorium of the law school building. Panelists
include Mike Lawrence, director of the Paul Simon
Institute for Public Policy; Bernie Robinson, lobbyist
in Washington, D.C.; Steve Beckett, UIUC law professor
and vice chair of the Champaign County Board; and Jim
Nowlan, UIUC professor and IGPA senior fellow.
