thing is that you show up at Urbana City Council meetings when the CPRB 
ordinance is being considered.   You can also express your support, if 
you're a resident of Urbana, to your City Council representative.

Dear Champaign County Coalition for Citizen Police Review Boards and friends,

The Coalition for Citizen Police Review will be having an 
informational/update meeting on Wednesday, July 19 at 7PM in the Bondurant 
room of the Illinois Disciple's Foundation (On Springfield between 6th and 
Wright).

Date:  July 19
Time:  7PM
Location:  Bondurant Room of the IDF

Recently, the City of Urbana mayor's task force on Citizen Police Review 
Boards concluded its work.  A few members and allies of this organization 
were on the task force.  As a participant of the task force, I feel that 
our work produced a unique Urbana police review ordinance that will work 
towards addressing many of the police-community relations issues that our 
community faces.

At this meeting, we will discuss the results of the task force and plan our 
next steps towards passing the ordinance for the city of Urbana.

Please come to this meeting and learn how you can help with this 
effort!  Anyone is welcome to attend.
