Hi Tracy.

Yup. I think you are using definition #2, while Karen is using #1.
I had the same initial reaction as Karen, and wasn't quite sure
what you meant till you spelled it out. I then realized that you
are using "hate" in the sense I usually use it and hear it used.
The principal difference is hating a person, which is pathological
although sometimes understandable, vs. hating an idea or a
circumstance. This is a distinction you made clearly in your post
"On Hating".
