William Otis is a counselor to the Drug Enforcement Administration and will be representing the side that the War on Drugs is necessary and legalization would lead to negative effects. Dr. Bryan Brickner, PhD and former Director of the Illinois Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, will debate that the drug war does more harm than good and must end.”

Poverty Forum (Anti-Racsim/Court Watch will have more date/time details as it gets closer)
Topics will include: Environmental racism. The poorest neighborhoods in Champaign-Urbana are built on the most toxic areas. In fact, part of the reason that the school district does not want to build a school north of University Avenue is because they cannot find a safe site, and they don’t want to clean up one. But the people live in this area!
Ken Solle(sp?) will be there.
