Somehow I knew you'd weigh in, John.

Is this clumsy and ill-advised ad hominem attack on me your way of saying 
that if you and I had a more close and caring personal relationship, I'd be 
able to get you to see the manifold errors of your ways?  If so, I'm 
certainly willing to give it a try.
