Above is a crude map of Frederick Douglass Park.
One sign is on the southwest corner and faces southwest.
Another sign at the northwest corner faces northwest.
Neither sign is visible, especially at night, while standing at Treemont and
5th, where the beating of a 17 year old youth occurred Friday night, March
30.

Police say three youth, ages 9, 15, and 17, were stopped for being in the
park after dusk, when it is closed. Park officials told us the park is open
until 12 midnight.

On any Friday night at 8:30pm, when the beating occured, parents and youth
will be walking from the gym to the parking lots.
Why were these three youth stopped by police?

Again, the charges were resisting arrest.
But if there was no reason for arrest, how can you be resisting arrest?

Six days and still no police reports.
