[Peace-discuss] Fwd: Habari Connections Open House

There is a new non-profit organization in Champaign-Urbana called
Habari Connection (http://habariconnection.com/).  They address social
justice issues affecting the educational opportunities and family
lives of children in marginalized communities.  I am doing some
outreach work through this organization.

They are having an Open House today, Friday Feb. 2 from 4:30-6p.  The
event will be held in the Family Room at the Independent Media Center
(202 S. Broadway).  This Center is located in the Old Post Office
Building next to Lincoln Square in Urbana.

The easiest way to get to the Family Room is to enter the building via
a door on the North Side of the building (the side facing the
courthouse).  The Family Room is straight ahead from this door.

I wanted to pass this information along, even though it is a late
notice, because I think it's an important opportunity to strengthen
community from the bottom up.  If you want to get more timely
