[Peace-discuss] Ask your Senator to Restrict Use and Sale of Cluster Bombs

I just sent a letter to my senators asking them to support the passage of a law that would better regulate the use and sale of dangerous cluster bombs. Cluster bombs are weapons that scatter hundreds or thousands of bomblets across a large area. Often, they fail to explode on impact and instead sit on the ground waiting to be triggered like a land mine.

Civilians returning home after war is over are the main victims of these weapons.  Handicap International has estimated that 98 percent of victims are civilians.
