[Peace-discuss] re Power Intoxicates

The was an old conservative on Moyers recently talking about
how the Republican party has been destroyed. He said that
Cheney is not the same man that he knew before he became
vice-president. Moyers asked what had happened and he
replied "power changes people". It does, but unpredictably.
It can change them for the better as well as for the worse.
I do not share Nick's pessimism.
