  Just discussing the Federal Reserve can be a whole can of worms. As I understand it, it is a private bank with unknown owners. Further, the national debt is so high, that 100% of the personal income taxes collected are used to pay interest on this debt, and that money goes to the Federal Reserve. In other words, all our personal income taxes go to the owners of the Federal Reserve Bank. I would love to be wrong on this. Anybody want to correct me?

This time around, the ultra-wealthy have every incentive to move to the 
Caymans or Dubai, essentially beyond the reach of U.S. government jurisdiction.
