Various forms of Occam’s Razor:
     
     
    "If you have two theories which both explain the observed facts then you should 
  use the simplest until more evidence comes along"
     
     
    "The simplest explanation for some phenomenon is more likely to be accurate than 
  more complicated explanations."
     
     
    "If you have two equally likely solutions to a problem, pick the simplest."
     
     
    "The explanation requiring the fewest assumptions is most likely to be correct."
     
     
    "Scientists must use the simplest means of arriving at their results and exclude 
  everything not perceived by the senses." 
     
     
    . . .or in the only form that takes its own advice. . .
    
  "Keep things simple!"
     
     
    Here are the two solutions to the collapse of the WTC:
     
    1.       Weakened by aircraft collision and resulting fires at tops of buildings, about an hour after the initial hit, the entire building breaks up and falls (i.e. is pulled by gravity,) into its footprint.
    2.       Brought down by controlled demolition.
     
    The speed of the collapse, the unprecedented presence molten metal (which lasts for more than four weeks,) the breakup of the building in relatively small pieces, the huge dust cloud (especially at the top,) the ejecta in all directions including up, the eyewitness accounts of explosions, the slag on the angle-cut bases of the columns, the prohibition of photos of the wreckage, the break-up of the 47 massive steel core columns (especially below the levels where there was any fire exposure,) the orderly (non-random) fall of the pieces into the footprint, and many other details are all simply explained by Solution 2.
     
  To explain the above, Solution 1 often requires twisted, contorted, forced, and always complex reasoning that boggles the mind. Occam’s Razor eliminates it in a heartbeat. In fact, when applied to Building 7, the complexity boggles a room-full of minds.
