I do not really follow your reasoning.  How is this along the same lines?
At any rate, I would note that there is nothing in the Constitution or
elsewhere that says the person holding the office of Commander-in-Chief has
to be qualified to do the job or - for that matter - what the qualifications
are or even should be. :-)

Moreover, some people would say that those some people who say that one must
blindly follow anyone are mental midgets and moral idiots.  But every
society has its drones. :-)
