I should add that one dollar one vote is similar to democracy in the old 
South, where slave owners got additional votes in proportion to the number 
of slaves owned. In the "democratic" free market, each person gets extra 
votes if he has extra dollars.

And this of course leads one to the notion of money as protected speech. 
Having established that the corporation, as an artificial person, has 
first-amendment protection, money itself has now become an artificial 
person with rights.....

This all is so bizarre that it borders on being comical.
