I tho't the same exact thing!!! Remember when we all bagged up rice to send to DC?? That had to be annoying... and this would be even worse. Wouldn't be surprised if a few pairs were headed his way already... And what a great new weapon, throwing shoes instead of rocks!! I'm betting this will catch on.
 
God bless video. But it looked like the yes men reporters -- weren't they wearing shoes that could be thrown?? -- were stomping the poor guy who parted w/ his own shoes to make an excellent point.

Bush had to duck the two tosses as they sailed over his head.


I know it wouldn't do any practical good, but it's fun to imagine a campaign in which all of us who have been displeased, to be euphemistic, by the Bush pResidency mailed an old, raggedy shoe to the White House.  It'd be interesting to see the news coverage, if there was any, of the truckloads and truckloads of old shoes arriving daily.
