Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Obama gave lipservice to an actual worker's strike long after it
gained popular support. To quote the famous Dylan song: "It doesn't
take a weatherman to know which way the wind blows." It would be one
thing if he was out at the forefront supporting them but he mentioned
them during a speech to feed off some popularity that the Republic
strike got. He did nothing of substance to stop the owners from
busting the union by moving to a non-union shop in Iowa. Whoopie!
And as for saying Obama's a good guy for saying something in support,
I see your simple statement and I raise you appearing on the scene
and saying something along with a concrete plan to get something
done. The man who said that? Blagojevich. Does that make Governor F-
Bomb a good guy and whitewash his corporate ties too?
Live without dead time,
Neil
With the people, for the people, by the people. I crack up when I
hear it; I say, with the handful, for the handful, by the handful
because that's what really happens.
