It looked too much like Ron Paul campaign electioneering--most R.P. supporters were not carrying peace or war protest signs, just "Vote for R.P."? I would?prefer non-partisan advocacy, not promotion of a political candidate.? It?made it look like?a Ron Paul rally...

AWARE, Republican Ron Paul people, Greens, campus Socialist ISO, High School students, grade school students and friends and neighbors.........?
It appears that a least 40 or more people came and went over the course of the 2-4 PM Protest today at Main and Neil in Champaign.?
?
Flyers were distributed by AWARE (including the outlining of the candidates positions on war and military spending).?
Greens also had a flyer announcing their presidential candidates.?
?
The AWARE flyer also listed the advisory referenda to be voted on February 5.?
?
An unusual alliance across the political spectrum......... one issue in common........... opposition to the Iraq WAR!?
?
Thanks to those who were able to attend! See you again on March 1..............?
