Stuart,
This points again to the need to have an active IMC-Tech group, instead 
of all the projects affiliated with UC IMC assuming that someone else is 
taking care of it.

I know that Dan has been trying to revive regular IMC-Tech meetings, but 
it has been him and maybe one other person attending so far -- and they 
both are people who already have a full plate of other responsibilities. 
They try to keep things going, but with little or no assistance from 
anyone else, they spend a lot of their time putting out fires, rather 
than on preventative maintenance and planning for needed improvements.
