Wait -- don't forward this! This story has been going around for years,
but it's *not true*. See the Urban Legends Reference Pages:

Germ of truth, mentioned in this Snopes page: several
national wireless companies hired Qsent, Inc. to create
a Wireless 411 service, to be made available to
(only) Directory Assistance providers, and *only if*
individual cell customers ask to be added to it.
But that does *not* mean that those records are given to
telemarketers, distributed over the Internet, published in
book form, etc. They won't.
It shouldn't do any harm to list your cell-phone in the national
Do Not Call list, but there's no point in doing it.
