Thanks for the clarification, Bob (actually I was the one who misquoted DN! re Obama's vote, i e that of the three (major) prez candidates, Obama was the only one to vote to ban cluster bombs, whereas I (and Amy Goodman) should have said that Obama the only one of the three to vote for Feinstein's amendment to ban cluster bombs.

Obama voted for Feinstein's modest but important amendment to tighten
restrictions on cluster bombs in the wake of Israel's wanton use of
them in Lebanon in 2006, a vote for which he was trashed by the Israel
right-or-wrong crowd. Not only among the remaining candidates - among
all the Senate Dems who ran for President, Obama was the only one to
vote for the Feinstein amendment (Biden and Dodd voted no.)
