The world stage requires that we have a president and vice-president who look
and act better than the stereotypical provincial, gun-toting Americans that
people associate with President Bush and that image.  The wild cowboy look has
got to go, and Palin's image fits with that rugged, cowboy type in the sense
that she's the good Christian lady counterpart who can play to that crowd. 
Certainly, she will play very poorly with China and our European allies who we
must work together with.  Her stupidity about Russia, thinking that war with
them would actually be a good idea, is frightening.
