All this may be true, and god knows I've had a face to face or two with TJ, but, hey - when somebody does something right, especially something you've been demanding and fighting with them about for years, I say, just celebrate it.

After all, can any of us name one person we don't disagree with on something?  We can still argue with Tim on whatever else we want later.  He ought to be thanked for this, publicly and profusely, in my humble opinion.

I was gonna say this exact same thing, and remind all of us of the heated conversation Tim and I had in Steak and Shake back in 2000, right after he was elected to the US HoR for the first time, prior to 9/11/01 and when we had the big Clinton "surplus" in the Treasury.  "We can do it all!!!" Tim shouted.


But I'm too tired.  Ol' Tim is still wrong abut so many things it would be impossible to enumerate 'em.

Representative Tim Johnson approached the AWARE table at the Holiday
Market while it was personed by Dave Harley and Stuart Levy. Tim
congratulated us on being consistent from the beginning, Tim now

believes that he was wrong twice and regrets his mistakes.
