Why the amended?  Why did it take so long to recognize the mistake?  Can
anyone explain?

   - The Shooting occurred before 1:55pm on Oct. 9, 2009
   - The evidence was submitted to the Springfield Forensic Science
   Laboratory by Troy Daniels on Oct. 22, 2009
   - Laboratory Report was completed on Nov. 11, 2009 (done in Springfield,
   IL)
   - Laboratory Report was received (per stamp) by Lt Crowder on Nov. 16,
   2009 (in Champaign, IL)
   - Laboratory Report amended the first Report on Nov. 19, 2009 (done in
   Springfield, IL)
   - Laboratory Report was received (per stamp) by Lt Crowder on Dec. 1,
   2009 (in Champaign, IL)


   1. It took thirteen (13) days for Troy Daniels to provide to Springfield
   for Forensics:
      - (1) additional cartridge (Exhibit 1)
      - (2) Glocks (Exhibits 2 and 3)
      - Kiwane Carrington's full set of clothing (Exhibit 4)
      - (1) fired metal jacketed bullet (Exhibit 5)
   2. It took Twenty-one (21) days for the Forensic Labs to run their tests
   3. It took five (5) days for Champaign to receive a copy of the report
   after its completion (whatever happened to Fax machines with hard copy to
   follow?)
   4. It took three (3) days for an amended Report correcting the original
   Report
   5. It took Thirteen (13) days for Champaign to receive a copy of the
   amended report after its completion (whatever happened to Fax machines with
   hard copy to follow?)


The amended report focused on Exhibits# 1-3, all pertaining to descriptions
of the guns reportedly taken from the scene
