Isn't this the same Feingold that brought us McCain-Feingold which stifles free speech and keeps the entrenched oligarchy in charge of the country? McCain-Feingold creates a barrier for entry for newcomers and provides protection for large established entities.

I do agree with Feingold on some issues and am pleased that he has been consistently opposed to the war of imperialism and he did vote against the patriot act.

If ever there were a worthy cause, this is definitely it. Unthinkable that there'd be a Feingold-less Senate...

                            Jenifer,

I wanted to give you a quick update on Russ’s campaign and ask for your assistance in helping us reach an important end-of-year goal.

While Russ has been busy working to curb wasteful spending, fighting for Wisconsin jobs, pushing for meaningful healthcare reform, and calling for a flexible timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan, everyone here at the Feingold Senate Committee is focused on making sure he's reelected in 2010. We’re busy collecting endorsements from Wisconsinites and knocking on doors around the state – 16,493 to date. Next month we're opening four additional field offices across Wisconsin. All of this and more in our effort to make sure that we’re ready for next year – no matter what the other side chooses to throw at Russ.

Russ has always believed in grassroots, people-powered campaigns, and that approach holds true in the area of fundraising as well. He doesn’t count primarily on small numbers of large contributors. He counts on the grassroots support of people like you. With that in mind, we’ve set an ambitious goal of 1,500 online donors for the month of December. You can help us finish the year strong by making a $15 Contribution today!

Does $15 make a difference? Absolutely. We’re hard at work making every dollar count. Your early support gives us the ability to continue our crucial field and voter contact opportunities. It also helps us invest in the future by guaranteeing we have the funds necessary for ads, offices, and everything else we’ll need to ensure victory next year.

Fifteen dollars or more at this time will give us a huge leg up on the opposition we're facing. Thanks for everything you do to support Russ.

                            Sincerely,

                            George Aldrich
