IRAQ - AFGHANISTAN WAR SUPPLEMENTAL SPENDING UPDATE

Both the House and the Senate passed versions of the supplemental spending bill 
that provides tens of billions of dollars more for the wars in Iraq and 
Afghanistan.  The next step is for a conference committee consisting of House 
and Senate members to design a compromise bill to bring to a vote in each body. 
  Both are in recess this week, so please use this opportunity to make a final 
call to your Representative and Senators to urge them to vote against any 
additional war spending and to thank them if they voted against the supplemental 
spending bill.
