Why do people keep referring to the "disastrous Bush presidency"? Disastrous for 
whom?  Sure, a lot of Iraqis died or were made refugees -- but they don't vote.

Some Americans were horribly injured or killed, but most of them don't vote, 
either, because the choices are the same.  There was no vote on whether to kill 
and die in the Middle East.

Bush's successor, who continues and indeed accentuates his policies, finds the 
American elites doing quite nicely in the world, thank you, and intends to keep 
it that way.

It seems that they'll have only token opposition at home, while Americans await 
his "decisions."  --CGE
